About Course

The BA (Hons) Hospitality Management and Leadership program is designed for students with a passion for both hospitality and events management. It provides a comprehensive range of knowledge and skills required by professionals in these dynamic sectors.

This course encourages self-directed learning through research and management reports, adding significant value to your CV. Modules are largely class-based, requiring students to apply theoretical knowledge to critically analyze key issues and topics. The course also utilizes the virtual learning environment, CANVAS, to provide supporting materials and facilitate communication through announcements.

Students will learn to identify and apply techniques suitable for making strategic, tactical, and operational management decisions. The course emphasizes the challenges faced by business leaders, exploring the complex, dynamic factors that influence management decisions.

The Hospitality Management and Leadership degree covers a wide array of modules such as Event Venue and Promotional Management, Hospitality Finance in Market Context, Hospitality Business Strategy and Decision Making, Live Creative Events Project, Digital Marketing and Branding, and Sustainable Practices and Planning.
